Santa Paws Walk – Roundhay Park Leeds. 10.30am Meet for 11am Walk

It’s time to put on your Santa hats and Christmas trimmings for the last Sighthound Social of 2023!!

If you really want to push the boat out and dress your hounds accordingly, we think we could have a little ‘fancy dress’ competition on our hands. A small prize even for the best 3 turned out hounds and their humans! Have we tempted you?

We are pulling out all the stops for you lovely socialisers! Our fabulous SSC Raffle Team have secured the room on the right hand side of the Mansion for a very Festive Raffle! We also have a ‘Mini Hound Market’ where Treats2sit4 and Levriero will have some lovely houndy goodies available to purchase.

Raffle tickets are £2 each or 3 for £5, all proceeds go to our charities BADAW and Lurcher Link. Cash only for raffle tickets please.

We are suggesting a meeting time of 10.30am in front and to the right hand side of the Mansion House.

Our idea is to set off from the Mansion House at 11:00am and we will walk down the stairs and along the main path towards the Lakeside cafe.

We then intend to complete a full lap of the lake and will then walk back up the main path back to the Mansion House for post walk raffle draw, last minute shopping, socialising/refreshments.

Should anyone want to park at the bottom car park and just complete the lake circular then you could arrange to pick us up at the Lakeside cafe at about 11:15am as we walk past. We will use the Lakeside cafe as our first ‘catch up’ point.

We will be collecting for BADAW and Lurcher Link so please spare whatever you can for our two fabulous charities.

This will be the very last collection point for Shoeboxes folks.
