Greyhounds & Sandcastles

Whilst chatting over a cuppa (and maybe the odd slice of cake) at Fraisthorpe today, a couple of our lovely members have asked for a Filey Bay beach walk before the beach closes to dogs on 1st May, and we certainly don’t want to disappoint. The SSC diary was whisked into action! We love it when our members ask for more events; that’s what this club is all about! Our tide checker champion gave the thumbs up for the 15th April so put the date in your diary friends.

We will meet at the Coble Landing coffee bar as usual from 10.30am, aiming to hit the beach at 11am.

For those who want to let their hounds off lead, please remember to bring a muzzle as there can be excitement and safety needs to come first. Off lead is completely your decision and your responsibility. The ‘system’ we have seems to work – you know the score, a couple of hounds off at the same time running between two groups of people, which does tend to contain them.
