We have been thinking about it for a while but one way of getting some publicity for greyhounds/sighthounds as pets would be to organise a structured walk in Leeds taking in a number of pubs/bars which we know are dog friendly.
The idea would be for us to organise prior to the date and get some specific times with the bar owners so we can arrange to have an area where we are not getting in the way TOO Much
We were thinking this could be something arranged for Sunday lunch time and could involve us visiting 4 places with a short walk in between.
It will obviously only be okay for greyhounds who could handle a little bit of noise, but we would be looking to have these pubs fairly close together and on the right side of town where the crowds are not too excitable.
Just want to get a general viewpoint on this.
Looking to involve someone like Leeds List in the organising of this to get some coverage / exposure22/06/2018 at 6:26 am #908ElizabethpikeParticipant
Definitely a good idea. We all know how well the hounds are received in pubs. Great way to raise awareness.
