    1. Strictly NO ‘pro’ and ‘anti-racing/coursing’ comments. – these will result in an immediate ban – temporary or permanent.

    2. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promotion in the forums.

These forums define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website or business etc.

Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users.

Do not ask for or post email addresses or phone numbers on a public thread – if you need to pass on these details to another member, use a private message.

    3. Do not post copyright-infringing material.

Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden.

    4. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images.

Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. You may not insult members based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, or sexual persuasion. This includes user pictures.

Do not pick on other members. The worst kind of bullying is where new members are picked on.

No Flaming – Flaming harms the nice atmosphere of SSC. It also causes thread’s to go off topic, and most importantly, it hurts the person being flamed. The victim may defend themselves against any accusations made to them, but may not make any additional accusations to the flamer (which also counts as flaming).

    No Profanity or Obscene Content.

    Use common sense while posting.

    5. Do not cross post questions.

Please refrain from posting the same question in several forums. There is normally one forum which is most suitable in which to post your question. Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators.

    6. Remain respectful of other members at all times.

All posts should be polite and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.

However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in these forums, you are expected to obey this rule.

    7. No Hacking – This should go without saying, but you are not permitted to hack the board. Guessing someone else’s password and succeeding counts as hacking. Members who hack will instantly be permanently banned without any warnings.

If you break one of these rules, the following penalties will apply (at the discretion of the moderators.)

Warning – Depending on how serious a violation is, you may be issued a warning first.

Temporary ban – A ban for a set period of time determined by the seriousness of the offence.

Permanent ban – Serious violations of the rules will result in an immediate ban. If you have previously had a temporary ban, any subsequent infringements of the rules may result in a permanent ban.

The forum ‘Rules – please read before registering or posting’ is closed to new topics and replies.
