A nice walk through the woods with a chance for a drink and a chat at the lovely cafe afterwards.

Meet at 10:00 with the walk starting at 10:30.

York Greyhound & Lurcher Walk – Meet 10.30am for 11am walk

Monthly walk which takes place in York on the first Sunday in the month.

We meet at the Fulford Arms in the beer garden to the rear of the pub

10:30am meet for a 11:00 am walk.

The walk is flat and along both sides of the river taking approximately 1 hour with a half way point stop for a natter and a few treats for the hounds.

The Fulford Arms pub kindly opens prior to the walk and hot and cold drinks are available and they remain open post walk for all refreshments.

It is obviously very dog friendly but there is ample outside seating if your hound prefers to have space because the pub inside can get a bit crowded at times.

It’s a lovely walk and they are a friendly bunch.

Please bring your Sardines4Sighthounds if you have any!

Sunday Social with Scarborough Friends @ North Yorkshire Water Park – Meet 10.30am for 11am walk

Back by popular demand!

We hope to meet Debbie who runs @greyhoundsofscarborough for a stroll around lovely Wykem Lakes.

We will meet at the cafe at 10.30am and walk starts at 11am.

There is nothing to indicate a charge for parking so we believe this remains free.

Sunday Social at Pugney’s Country Park – Meet 10am for 10.30am walk

Come and join us for a Sunday Circular Stroll around Pugney’s Lake with our dear friends at South Yorkshire Sighthounds https://www.facebook.com/groups/1415322552052312

10am meet in front of the Boathouse Cafe for a 10:30am walk start.

Flat walking conditions and the route is fully pathed so suitable for buggies and pushchairs etc.

Parking is pay and display and the prices are below:
£1 for up to 2 hours
£2 for up to 4 hours

Historically parking wardens are keen here so please do not forget to pay for your space! We don’t want any unexpected parking fines.

The walk will take approximately an hour but you can make this as long or as short as you want/need to.

Walk at Market Weighton – Meet 10.30am for 11am walk

Come along and join our popular walk at Market Weighton, near York.

We are going to be meeting at the Londesborough Arms pub in the centre of Market Weighton at 10:30am with a view of walking at 11am.

There is limited parking in front of the pub on the Main Street and also in the car park ‘Market Hill Car Park’ which is a 3 minute walk from the pub.

Our hosts for the walk run the pub and are owned by sighthound Dylan who you may have met on our past walks.

The walk is going to be about 1.5 mile and will take 45 minutes to a hour.

It’s lovely walk in the countryside with a stop over at the pub afterwards to catch up and have a drink in the Pub Courtyard.

Worsbrough Mill Sunday stroll – Meet 10am for 10.30am walk

We will be meeting at the larger cobbled area in front of the Mill. As you approach the tearoom, go down the road/lane to the left of the flagpole, past the toilet block and then round to the left.

Meeting at 10am meet for a 10.30am walk.

We have been asked – if anyone would like teas/coffees/something to eat please can you use the takeout facility at the tearooms rather than going into the tearoom. This is due to limited space.

A Walk at Cannon Hall – Meet 10am for 10.30am walk

Join us again for a walk in the grounds of Cannon Hall, near Barnsley.

Please park at the Cannon Hall Farm carpark, take the first left after turning into the farm’s main entrance. We will have a circular walk starting from the picnic area/marquee.

Parking is £3.

We will be stopping half way around for a general catch up point before heading back up to the picnic area.

Meeting from 10:00am for a 10:30am walk start time.

There is an onsite dog cafe at Cannon Hall Farm for people to use post walk.

Sunday Social – Roundhay Park Leeds – Meet 10am for 10.30am walk

Meeting at 10am, our walk will start from the Mansion House at 10:30am and we will walk down the steps and along the main path towards the Lakeside cafe.

We will complete a full lap of the lake and will then walk back up the main path back to the Mansion House for post walk socialising and refreshments.

Should anyone want to park at the bottom car park and just complete the lake circular then you could arrange to pick us up at the Lakeside cafe at about 10:45am as we walk past. We will use the Lakeside cafe as our first ‘catch up’ point.

Parking charges may be introduced. From what we can see online it appears parking can be made via the PayByPhone App so we suggest you register an account if you don’t have one already and some locations may offer pay and display options. Prices are:

£1 for up to two hours
£2.50 for up to 4 hours
£4 for up to 12 hours
